Valoe Oyj manufactures IBC solar cells in Vilnius, Lithuania, and conventional and Odd Form PV solar panels in Juva, Finland. Valoe also installs photovoltaic systems either as traditional solar power plants or as systems integrated into its application. Valoe has developed its own production lines and also offers photovoltaic technology and equipment to its customers.
Valoe currently has 34 employees in Finland and 15 employees in Lithuania. The company invests heavily in product development and is involved in the European Solar High Technology Development Project (Horizon 2020 HighLite). Valoe has its own cell, panel and device technology, which the EU project perfectly supports.
Valoe (formerly Cencorp Oyj) has its roots in the 1970s. Over the decades, the company has supplied thousands of industrial automation systems to various industries around the world. The company also has technological know-how from its main owner, Savcor, which for years made special coatings for the mobile phone industry, especially Nokia. Valoe moved away from automation manufacturing in 2014 and focused exclusively on photovoltaic technology, where operations are based on in-depth knowledge of materials technology, knowledge and versatile use of laser technology, and experience in automation and industrial mass manufacturing.
Since 1999, Valoe's shares have been listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Exchanges.

Without a love of life and concern for the quality of that life, work and its result would be meaningless.
PV electricity is most environmentally friendly when it is produced with high-quality and long-lasting modules and systems in a distributed manner close to the user, whether it is a geographical area or an electric device.
It is important to develop technology that will enable photovoltaics to be deployed across the globe, not just in the wealthiest countries. The sun also shines where there is no electricity grid. Too much of the world's population is still completely without electricity. Valoe's factory concept aims at local solar panel production that is ecological and benefits the surrounding community.
The solar panel does not wear out when generating electricity. In theory, it is possible, by choosing the right materials, to design and manufacture a module that lasts forever.
Valoe invests in the materials, design and lifespan of solar cells, modules and power plants. With the introduction of a new generation of solar cell and panel technology, clean and safe photovoltaics will also be the most cost-effective.
With the goal of the most durable photovoltaic systems, Valoe pays special attention to the quality and traceability of materials.
Valoe´s products must be efficient, homogeneous, non-toxic and recyclable.
Valoe takes care of environmental issues and strives to minimize emissions from operations.
Valoe uses renewable energy in production.
Valoe respects internationally accepted human and labour rights. A safe and healthy work environment is maintained for all employees, and the basic principles related to this are enshrined in the action plans for occupational safety and health.
As an employer, Valoe strives to be flexible and to value equality and diversity. Employees are treated equally and with equal value regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, age and other similar factors.
Occupational well-being is managed as part of the business. Well-being at work is maintained by, among other things, flexible working hours and support for sports and cultural activities, as well as various personnel events.
All people are waiting for a leap in the development of photovoltaic technology. Product development is Valoe's core function. Valoe does its best to promote the use of solar energy and to provide technology that generates clean electricity to the widest possible range of users.
Valoe collaborates with leading research institutes and companies in the development of materials and the deployment of new photovoltaic applications. Valoe believes that product development will revolutionize the concept of solar modules.
