The high degree of automation inherent in the back contact PV technology developed by Valoe produces efficient, consistent and durable solar panels.
Valoe´s business models are based on generating solar electricity near the user, whether it is a geographical area or an electric appliance. Photovoltaics is most environmentally friendly when it is produced in a distributed manner, close to the user, with high-quality and long-lasting modules and systems.
Valoe provides automated module lines or whole factories. Valoe also offers module components to manufacturing partners committed to using the company's technology.
Photovoltaics can be used in other ways than in traditional power plants. When the module is integrated into a device or vehicle, it is required to have different characteristics. For example, the module must be efficient, light and impact resistant. In addition, its appearance must match the design of the car.
Valoe's product development cooperation with Sono Motors began already in 2018 and continues in 2020. Valoe´s Odd Form modules are installed in Sono Motors´ test cars. The testing gives both parties valuable experience in the new PV applications.
